A Rejection That Turned Around

We saw a project listing on the Framer Community Job Board. Like many others, we applied, showcasing our skills and past work. The next day, a message popped up from the client.

Client: “Hey, thanks for applying — I’ve already found someone else to get the work done.”

It stung a little — we’ve all been there. But instead of walking away, Ishu replied with calm confidence:

Ishu: “Totally fine if you've found someone. No worries at all. Just wanted to say — the professionalism and expertise we bring are hard to match. If you ever want top-tier work, we’d love to collaborate in the future.”

🔁 The Turnaround

Two days later, the unexpected happened.

Client: “Hey bro, you were right. The guy I hired wasn’t professional — he stopped communicating and left things incomplete. If you still want the job and can show professionalism, let’s get started.”

We immediately said yes. But before committing, the client gave us a small animation test to see how we worked.

✅ Result? We passed it with flying colors — smooth animation, precise execution, and clear communication. That sealed the deal.

⚙️ Project Execution (Framer Website for Sports Betting)

Though the client didn’t provide Figma files, he gave us visual references from other sites — and we were totally comfortable with that. In just 5–7 days, we delivered a full animated landing page built with Framer.

That’s how our Twitter journey began — thanks to this one thoughtful client.

🧠 Lesson Learned

Never underestimate the power of a polite, confident follow-up. Even when someone chooses someone else, your last message could make the first impression that sticks.

Moral: “Don’t lose hope if a client picks someone else. Just leave a kind message — you’ll be surprised how often they come back.”
